Hawk Mountain's Emergency Services Weekend is an open event focusing on core Ground Team Member skills. This weekend is geared towards preparing CAP members for GTM skills and is a great preparatory weekend for anyone potentially interested in attending Hawk Mountain and participating in the Ranger

About the Event
COVID Considerations
This event is currently being planned as an overnight activity however the HMRS waiver for overnight activities is still pending NHQ approval. If not approved in advance of the weekend, the event will be a daytime-only event and students should be prepared to make alternative arrangements for overnight accommodations. The event will be conducted as a two-day activity but attendance at both days will not be required if COVID limitations prevent students from attending both days.
Masks will be required for all formations and classroom activities. If allowed to remain overnight, students must bring their own tent as sharing will not be permitted unless all occupants are of the same family.
