DESCRIPTION

Learn essential lifesaving skills and become qualified to use Civil Air Patrol radios.

 

Upon completion of all course requirements, participants will receive...

  • First Aid and CPR card

  • Introductory Communications User Training (ICUT) qualification

This is an introductory level course designed for any Civil Air Patrol member, regardless of experience in emergency services. First aid training and ICUT are required skills if you wish to pursue ground team member qualification.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pre-Registration is required via Registration Zone.
 
To receive ICUT qualification, attendees must complete the online portion found in eServices before (strongly preferred) or soon after the weekend.

All members must submit completed forms CAPF 60-80, 160, and 161 for each activity. Cadets must also submit CAPF 163.

Meals will be provided. Bring snacks. Running water will be available at the facility.

Student lodging will be tent camping. See the packing list for more details on what to bring.
